Verizon’s BlackBerry Pearl

They’re still miles away from T-Mobile’s ridiculously cheap $10 for unlimited BlackBerry email, but Verizon’s trying to reach out to a more personal, consumer-based audience as it preps to launch its own Pearl with a new data pricing structure of its own. Unlimited web and email will run you $29.99 when purchased with a voice plan, $34.99 without, offering support for up to ten POP3 and IMAP accounts. Again, T-Mobile’s got these cats beat hands-down if saving dinero is the priority — but then again, Verizon takes the cake for total coverage area and, of course, 3G speed. Pick your poison.

Wii FreeLoader

This one has been in the works for a while, but it looks like you can finally pick up your very own region-free enabler for the Wii for $19.99. Wii FreeLoader allows you to play any GameCube or Wii game from any region on your Wii. You just stick the FreeLoader disc into the console, let it spin up, eject the disc and stick in your title of choice — like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, for instance, or some cooking-related title. Since there’s no hardware modding required, this one theoretically won’t void your warranty, but who’s to say how Nintendo will treat you if you somehow break your Wii with it, and there’s always the fear that Nintendo will hit your Wii with a mandatory software update that breaks FreeLoader, so proceed with caution. Or don’t, so much confusing entertainment awaits you!

Zune Mp3

The new Zune features reflect an effort by Microsoft to compete with the Apple products, especially, of course, with the iPod Touch that has a touch screen. Also, this fact is a clear signal that Microsoft is working hard in order to incorporate its different platforms for computers and mobile phones into the Xbox environment.

Here are some of the new features:

* Zune HD comes with a built-in HD radio receiver with a better quality sound than the traditional radio sets. This way, users are able to listen to music or radio programs everywhere.

* The interface of the sharp OLED touch screen offers users the possibility to browse playlists, movies and other contents in an easy way.

* Its HD-compatible output allows users to play video in 720p (from the player) to an HDTV through an optional HDMI docking station.

* Zune HD includes a full-screen Internet browser optimized for multitouch functionality, which is able to acknowledge multiple tactile commands.

* Zune HD also includes Wi-Fi connection allowing a quick transmission of more than 5 million songs available from the Zune music store to the player.

Sony Mp3 Player

Sony introduced its latest MP3 and video player: the X-series Walkman. It is a portable device for entertainment. The X-series Walkman supports Wi-Fi and has a touchscreen OLED display, Sony’s Clear Audio and S-master Digital Amplifier technologies, as well as preloaded content from Slacker Radio and YouTube.

“The new X-series leverages Sony’s engineering heritage and integrates the latest advances in OLED and other innovative technologies”, said Andrew Sivori, director of the audio products business at Sony Electronics.

With a 3-inch touchscreen OLED display, the player shows the videos with an excellent color reproduction, high contrast and a rapid response rate. The display allows users to see the videos from any angle, even at a 180-degree angle.

In addition, when the user is watching movies on the device, the image on the screen can be adjusted based on user’s preferences. Also, the process of browsing through several scenes has been simplified by using a feature called Scene Scroll. This feature allows users to select their favorite time increment and scan the scenes (forward or back) by touching the touchscreen display.

Alarm and Wi-Fi radio

Alarm clock combined with radio receiver is not a new idea. But the alarm clock, combined with Internet radio - this is something interesting.
Ability to connect to the Internet through Wi-Fi and play Internet radio stations makes this gadget from the company Aluratek simply fathomless musical box. Indeed, in this way one can listen to more than 11 000 stations.
The possibility to search the stations according to music tracks and countries is built in gadget. For fans of good old FM - there is FM receiver. You can use the gadget also to play MP3.
As for the core function, it is possible to install two alarm clocks with different options. You can wake up under your favorite song in MP3 format, radio or under the custody of the preset sounds of alarm.
The only minus of the gadget is its price. It doesn’t matter how many radio station your alarm- clock broadcasts, the price still seems to be excessive.

Electric Shock Roulette

A devilishly simple idea - extremely well "executed"!

Each player inserts a fingertip into one of the four electric chambers.
One player (or observer, if they're too chicken to join in!) then presses start.. this kicks off the countdown sequence of beeps and lights which leads to one of the players receiving the full electric shock treatment!
OK, well its not exactly as fatal as "Russian Roulette", but the shock is designed to be uncomfortable (although we're worried about one person in our office who quite likes it)!
When you hear the final beep .. will you be the first to weep?

Details:

* Suitable for 2-4 players
* This is not a toy, and not suitable for children
* Includes 3 x AAA batteries for testing
* Do not use if you suffer from epilepsy, heart condition or similar

SRT-10 Dodge Viper The fastest sports car

SRT-10 Dodge Viper The fastest sports car

SRT-10 Dodge Viper Powered by a 8.3 Litre V10 which is essentially a Dodge truck V8 with two extra cylinders grafted on, the Viper has incredible straight line performance. Handling and build quality of the Viper is however less refined and reassuring compared to its European rivals.Dodge Viper began in 1996.

External review by Rodney Rawson
The Dodge Viper - The viper idea all started in 1988 with just a clay model. Soon after the car was was constructed and displayed at put on display auto shows. The Chrysler Corporation did not expect the Viper to be such a big hit. The viper certainly got a lot of people interested, and in 1992 The first Viper RT/10 Roadster was produced. It initially came in only two color choices, black and the more common red. In 1996 The Dodge Viper GTS was introduced. The GTS was a hard top instead of the soft top RT/10.
SRT-10 Dodge Viper The fastest sports car

In the late 1980's and early 90's Chrysler was running out of money, and fast, and that is part of the reason for the Viper, they needed a 'halo car' car that could help them with their money problems and it worked.
In 1994 a television series starring the Dodge Viper was aired on NBC it was called of course, Viper. The show took place in a futuristic city and the Viper was a type of police car. It starts out like an ordinary Viper and with the push of a button it turned into the Defender, the ultimate crime fighting machine. Chrysler created the show to help there sales with the viper.
In 2003 the Dodge Viper was changed dramatically, in both appearance and performance. The Dodge Viper was the fastest sports car for under 100 thousand, until the Chevrolet Corvette ZO6 came along. Dodge plans to counter the Corvette with a new, faster and nicer Viper in 2008. Let's hope. The Viper is a true American sports car.
